I paint intuitive, abstract landscapes in oils with cold wax medium on either board or paper. My technique involves building up layers and depth through mark making and scraping back, trying not to influence the outcome, but rather letting each painting evolve on its own. My paintings are based on memories of places and concern for preserving our natural environment.
